Short description: Our name is the title of an epic 19th century novel – the first Orientalist romance – by the Irish poet Thomas Moore. In it, he tells the story of Lala Rokh, which means Tulip Cheeks, a beautiful young princess on a journey of love and discovery. In collaboration with Sandra Fairbanks Design, we have created three private and semi private function rooms that vary in size and style. A soothing color of Historic Yellow on the walls and a rich tone of grey-blue unify the rooms. The home-style Persian cuisine of LaLa Rokh is distinctive, with recipes dating back centuries. The meats, grains, herbs, fruits, vegetables, and spices in these dishes combine to create a sum far greater than its parts.
